A dedicated iFHP VBHC Study Tour delivered in collaboration with Swansea University Value-Based Health and Care Academy, exploring how Singapore is advancing value-based healthcare across policy, financing, care delivery and the public-private healthcare ecosystem.
As early as 2014, The Economist Intelligence Unit ranked Singapore 2nd out of 166 countries for healthcare outcomes while spending 46% less per capita than Japan, the top-ranked country. With a national VBHC framework now in place and consistently ranked among the world’s best healthcare systems, Singapore is recognised for delivering exceptional outcomes while maintaining affordability and sustainability. As governments, insurers and providers worldwide search for solutions to rising healthcare costs, Singapore offers a compelling opportunity to experience a coordinated value-based healthcare effort in action across the public-private ecosystem.
This immersive study tour is designed for health plan leaders, strategists, contracting experts and value-based care champions. Delegates will engage directly with policymakers, providers, insurers and healthcare leaders working to improve outcomes, patient experience, affordability and long-term system sustainability in one of the world’s most sophisticated healthcare systems.
