The iFHP Sustainability Member Network met on 6 February 2025 to hear from the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare (CSH) and set goals for the year ahead.

Claire Scully and Rachel Stancliffe introduced CSH’s five key principles for sustainable healthcare; prevention, patient self-care, service delivery efficiency, low-carbon alternatives, and operational improvements.

The group also reviewed real-world case studies from the UK and Canada and discussed shared challenges, including virtual care adoption, travel emissions, and staff engagement.
