With every member being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic to a greater or lesser extent – either in terms of the cost of infections and/or restrictions on care provision placed on private insurers and populations – understanding the broader claims impact could help individual payers plan for future stages of the pandemic. iFHP conducted a ‘rapid’ research project, gathering claims data from iFHP members during September and October 2020.
